Area Overview

Located on Vancouver Island in the rural area of Yellow Point and Cedar, the property is surrounded by large lots and rural country roads.  Nanaimo, Vancouver Island’s second largest city with a population of 84,000 is only 15 minutes north, while Victoria, BC’s capital city, is situated to 1.5 hours to the south. The property is easily accessible from Vancouver by ferries via Departure Bay from Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen on the mainland. Access to Boat Harbour can also be done by flying to Nanaimo's airport, or by private seaplane directly to the property.
Adjacent to the property is Boat Harbour Marina, a small marina that services the nearby Gulf Islands of Mudge, DeCourcy, and Ruxton.  There are no marine services at Boat Harbour marina, nor does the marina offer transient moorage making this a quiet area visited predominantly by locals.
