Improvements

Originally constructed in the 1950’s, the Duffin Cove Resort retains many of its original improvements with the exception of the six-plex.

The six-plex has excellent water views and is located above the beach a short walk from the main office.  Each unit has a queen and a single bed.  The units are arranged with three on the main level and three on the second level.  This building was built in the 1970’s and is in good condition.

Two rustic and fully equipped Quonset style cabins are located directly on the beach and are accessed by a set of stairs leading from the main property. These two cabins can each accommodate up to 6 guests and have a queen bed, two singles, and a pull-out couch.  They are fully equipped with a kitchen and a wood-burning fireplaces.  These cabins are part of the original resort development and are in fair condition. It is unlikely that the District would allow any new development at this location given the proximity to the ocean.

The four-plex has 4 one-bedroom suites each with a queen and a double sofa.  Ocean views are available from three of the suites, while the fourth suite is situated at garden level and has limited ocean views.

The main office building includes a manager’s suite and a large 2-bedroom guest suite with a queen, two doubles and a sofa bed. At full capacity the Resort can accommodate 56 guests.
