Western Forest Products is pleased to advise the proposed agreement in principal with the Capital Regional District to purchase portions of the lands. The lands contained within the current offering that are subject to the proposed transaction includes the entire Sooke Potholes Group. 


Located only 5 kilometers north of the Sooke town centre, the Sooke Potholes Group is located on the eastern edge of the Sooke River and is adjacent to the Sooke Potholes Provincial Park.  Encompassing over 559 contiguous acres, this Group includes 23 individual titles, which range in size from 9.5 to 112 acres and offer a variety of terrain, views, and price levels.

With limited logging, the aesthetics of this property are consistent with the adjacent park use.  Access to the two southern-most titles within the group is provided by Sooke River Road, while the balance of the properties do not currently have formal road access.
